About the Presenter
Joe Turner, PMP, is the Principal of Turner Consulting. The focus of Turner Consulting is on the business aspects of projects - to assist clients in aligning the completion of critical projects with their corporate objectives to increase profit and competitive advantage. Joe provides world-class training and consulting services to develop core competencies in project management, planning and budgeting.
Joe has more than 30 years of business and leadership experience nationally and internationally. His clients are engaged in a wide variety of industries: high technology, manufacturing, biotechnology, educational institutions, financial services, construction, consulting, government, insurance, law enforcement management, medical, and not-for-profit. His business experience ranges from the management of corporate budgets at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts to providing individual and team consulting on for all corporate functions. His education includes the Virginia Military Institute and Boston University.

Dr. Carol Ann Sharicz is a professor at UMass Boston in the Instructional Design program, practitioner, and author whose passion is teaching and learning about innovation, systems thinking, and leadership. Her clients span healthcare; financial; education; pharmaceutical; high tech; local, federal and state governments; the energy-related industry; and consumer product organizations. Prior work experience includes being a senior instructional designer and trainer for Motorola, Inc. To date, Carol has had work assignments in 14 countries, which include: Amsterdam, Australia, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, England, Estonia, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Moldova, and Russia.
